Evidence requirements
3.1 Suitability of vacancies and job opportunities selected are compared to own needs and preferences.
Range may include but is not limited to
- financial needs,
- hours of work,
- transportation requirements,
- personal circumstances, compatibility with long-term career goals;
3.2 The description includes steps in a job search process.
Range includes but is not limited to
- objectives,
- contact lists,
- log of positions and/or vacancies applied for and/or investigated,
- actions planned (including follow-up),
- actions completed.
Outcome 4
Describe the preparation for an initial meeting with a prospective employer.
Evidence requirements
4.1 Preparation necessary for an initial meeting with a prospective employer is described in relation to the identified vacancy.
Range preparation includes consideration of
- readiness to respond promptly to job opportunities,
- access to telephone and/or transportation,
- clothing and personal presentation,
- knowledge of job requirements and employer expectations,
- current curriculum vitae, questions in preparation for interview.
